Biography
The Band of Willies is a blues-rock band from Oudenaarde. Inspired by blues and rock greats such as Elmore James, Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddie King, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, John Mayer, Triggerfinger and many more. Willem 'Willie' Tack founded The Band of Willies in 2009. But the band really started to roll in november 2010 with the arrival of bassplayer Pieter-Jan Vancamelbeke, axe-man Laurent Vanden Broecke and 'pots 'n pans' player Francis Michels. Soon the first songs were written and the road was calling... The Band of Willies got their first album, "Revolution", released in december 2011. Played main stage of FihP 2012 and Crammerock 2012. Let it roll!
